Disabled Access

This is an old building built in the Victorian period on a steeply sloping site. Access from the road is via a tarmac ramp of approx 50 metres.

Once at the building, there are two stone steps into the main entrance, and a portable ramp is available for use. Once inside the main entrance, the main hall, kitchen, ladies toilets, and gents toilets are on one level.

There is a disabled access toilet but this is up 3 steps from the entrance lobby. However there is step-free access via the outside of the building and through the annexe room.

The annexe room is next to the disabled toilet, and shares the same 3 steps up from the lobby. There is step-free access into the annexe from outside the building. Once inside the annexe, the disabled access toilet is on the one level.

The only access up to the garden - it’s a sloping site - is via four outside steps.
