Our Victorian Island-stone village hall is located in St Lawrence, near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.
With modern facilities, this characterful building makes for a fitting venue suited to a variety of events, such as wellbeing and fitness classes, meetings, plays, wedding & christening functions, gender reveal parties, baby showers, charity groups, birthdays talks, and other get-togethers.
The Main Hall caters for up to 60 people (seated theatre-style) with a 4m x 9m stage.
The Meeting Room holds up to 15 (seated theatre-style) and opens out on to the garden.
The large kitchen has two sinks, an oven, hob, microwave, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
St Lawrence Village Hall is a charity run by trustees - a group of unpaid volunteers who give up their own time to look after the hall and put on various events. Profits raised go towards the upkeep of the hall, ensuring the hall's future for the community.
Can you offer a little of your time?
You don't need to become a trustee, as we really welcome anyone who wants to simply help on an occasional basis.
